Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission into Ph.D. degree in Computer Science to be offered in the ensuing session 2013 at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Calcutta, Kolkata.
Eligibility:
M. Sc. (Computer and Information Science) or equivalent, MCA. The final semester students may also apply
Selection Process: Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of written MCQ examination and the successful candidates will be called for an interview
Note: Candidates who have already passed UGC / CSIR (JRF) examinations / NET / SET / SLET / GATE / Teacher Fellowship or equivalent examinations or obtained M Tech / ME degree in Computer Science & Engineering or equivalent examination need not appear for the written test. However, they will have to appear for the interview

Application fees of Rs. 100/- can be paid through a challan available through different University Cash counters. The challan is to be duly forwarded through the Head of the Department (HoD), Department of Computer Science and Engineering
Duly filled in application forms along with a copy of the paid challan mustbe submitted to the office of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Calcutta, 92 Acharya Prafulla Chandra Road, Kolkata – 700009
